It’s been a while since my last update and life has been moving fast in the best possible way.
Last autumn, I spent Halloween in London, soaking in all the spooky atmosphere, wonderful events and film screenings that make this season my absolute favorite time to be in England.
After that came a beautiful Christmas trip to Merano, surrounded by snowy mountains, Christmas lights and quiet winter evenings before heading further north to Norway. Spending winter up there was something really special with the calm landscapes, frozen mornings and a chance to slow down for a little while.
Since then, I’ve also spent time in Dublin, traveled through France and have been a lot on the road for music, film projects and new creative collaborations. There’s been a lot happening behind the scenes over the past months and I’m incredibly grateful for all the experiences, people and opportunities that came along the way.
One of the recent highlights was being invited to the RED Movie Awards in Reims, France, where I had the pleasure of representing the film Come and Find Me together with the director Carmine. I worked on the music and soundtrack for the movie, so it was very special to see the film being celebrated in such a beautiful setting.
The gala took place inside the stunning opera house in Reims and we had an amazing time meeting filmmakers, artists and creators from around the world, watching other films and attending the red carpet event and gala together.
At the same time, the film also had a screening in Los Angeles where we were honored to receive the award for “Best Soundtrack of the Year” at the Indie Short Festival in LA. We honestly couldn’t be more thankful for the support and recognition the project has received so far.
Since the premiere last June the journey of the film has been a ride: so many festivals, audiences and wonderful people have connected with the film and with our soundtrack album, which was released last autumn. Seeing people resonate with the music we created for this film has been incredibly rewarding.
And the journey is still continuing - next stop for the film: Oslo next week.
There are many more projects, ideas and collaborations already in the making and I can’t wait to share more soon. Thank you to everyone who has been supporting the journey, listening to the music, watching the film, and following along through all these different chapters.
